MAN WITH THE ONLY HAND

This is the story of a 1938 man named Károly and he was the best pistol shooter in that country.

He had won all the national championships in his country.

And everyone was convinced that the gold medal will be given to Károly in the Olympics that are going to be held in 1940.

And he had trained for years, he had only one dream, the focus was that I have to make this hand the best shooting hand in the world. To make the best is to make the best, and he succeeded, he became the best shooting hand.

There was a difference of only 2 years.

In 1938 an army training camp was going on. Because he was in it. So an accident happened in the exact same hand with which he was supposed to win the gold medal. A hand grenade exploded in it. And he lost his hand.

Which was his dream which was the focus all over.

He had two ways, one is that he would cry the rest of his life and go somewhere to hide or keep his goal on which he had done.

So he did not focus on what had gone, what he did not have, he focused on what he had.

What did he have and what did he have? This left hand.

A hand with which he could not even write. He was treated in the hospital for a month for that hand.

And right after a month he started training that arm.

After 1 year of training, means 1939 came back, the National Championships were taking place while there were many other pistol shooters in Hungary. As many pistol shooters went and congratulated him and said that, this is the emotion, despite all this much of Sportsman's Spirit, you have come here to see us and to encourage us?

No one knew that he had been training his left hand for 1 year.

He replied that I did not come here to encourage, I have come to compete with you, I have come to fight you, get ready.

And there was competition, all the people there were competing in their best hands, and he was competing with only hand.

who won? The man with the only hand! Károly.

But he did not stop here, his goal was clear. I have to make this hand not of this country but the best shooting hand of this whole world.

He shifted his focus to the 1940s when the Olympics were about to take place but the 1940 Olympics was cancelled due to the World War.

Where did he pick up all his focus on the Olympics that were to be held in 1944? The Olympics which were to be held in 1944 also became cancelled again due to the World War.

He put all his focus on the 1948 Olympics.

His age in 1938 was 28 years. In 1948 it had touched 38 years. And the Younger players who come out, it becomes difficult to compile with them, but there was no word of difficult name in its dictionary.

He went where the best shooters from all over the world were coming who were competing with their best hands. And he was competing with his only hand and who won?

But he did not stop even then he completed the 1952 Olympics again and this time Károly who won the gold medal. After 4 years, again and completely changed the entire history, no athlete had won the Gold Medal twice in a row before that in the Olympic Competition.

 If you go to any loser, he will have a list of reasons that I have failed due to this, I have not been able to do anything due to this in my life.

And on the other side, go to the winner, he will have a thousand reasons not to do what he wants to do, only reason that he wants to do it and he will do it.
